COVID-19 Safety Guidelines

  • Anyone who has symptoms (fever, cough, headache, etc.) or has been exposed to the coronavirus must stay home and view the services online.

  • “At-Risk population” - those over 65 or who have underlying health issues are strongly encouraged to stay home and continue participating online.

  • Anyone who feels uncomfortable attending in person during this time is encouraged stay home and view the services online. There is no pressure to physically attend.

  • Households will sit every other pew, at the ends of the pews.

  • Members are encouraged to consider sitting in the overflow space in the dining hall. Our goal is to stay under 25% capacity in each meeting space.

  • Face masks are highly encouraged, for the sake of yourself and others. Masks will be provided for those who do not have one.

  • There will be no Sunday School classes or nursery. We will have a Sunday morning service at 11 am, Sunday evening at 6 pm, and Wednesdays at 7 pm.

  • Stay at least 6 feet apart from one another—even outside. No handshaking or hugging, even if you feel safe doing so.

  • Minimize mingling and fellowship. The doors will not be opened until 5 minutes before the service begins. Ushers will help us exit row by row at the conclusion of the service to prevent congestion at the exits.

  • Family members should stay together as we come and go, rather than scattering to go socialize and be with friends.

  • No offering will be taken during the service. Offerings can be dropped in the box at the back of the sanctuary or be given online.

  • Hymnals have been removed from the pews, and the songs will shown on the overhead screen.

  • Ushers with masks and gloves will open and close the doors to minimize the number of people touching the door handles.

  • All door handles, pews, and other common touch points will be sanitized prior to every service.
